cablemdiag (formerly known as DOCSIS Cable Modem Diags) attempts to expose some of the more important maintenance variables to the public, allowing their manual exposure. In addition, it also display a warning when the values of the cable’s signals are off the range. (i.e. cable not good)
WHAT’S NEW
Version 0.97:
- Corrected a bug where IP in prefs window had no effect and community would only change after leaving the application.
- Changed the menu to conform to Apple Human Interface Guidelines.
- Added an OK, Cancel and Restore Factory Setting to the pref window.
- Added a pref button to the Alert Box of network errors.
- Edited the text messages of network errors and cable problems Alert Boxes.
- Binded key ENTER to “Connect to Cable Modem…” on the window of MainMenu.
- Changed help tooltips of “Logs” field and “System ID”.
- More tooltips added, explaining the data collected from the modem.
- Fixed an error where it would only fetch part of the logs.
