MailRaider 0.4.1

MailRaider… Are you a Switcher? Have you got old e-mails archived somewhere? Have you ever wished that your Mac could read your old Microsoft Outlook .msg files? If so, MailRaider could be just what you need. So far, it’s very much a beta – but nearly all of the functionality is now present. But it can read your Outlook e-mails, and it can extract the attachments. It can convert your email to rtf or eml. Try it. And let me know how you get on.

WHAT’S NEW
Version 0.4.1 In a fit of enthusiasm I added more updates that I can reliably remember. Let me see now Help has been added. It’s rudimentary, I admit, but it’s a start.
I reworked the UI. The old one was ugly and the icons were merely placeholders. I got around to making real icons. Ones that I like.
Some support has been added for calendar entries. At the moment they don’t decode into calendar entries – they just look like funny e-mail
MailRaider checks for unsupported file types rather more carefully now. Which should mean that it no longer appears to do nothing.
There were a few more improvements to memory usage.
Ah yes! I added the option to convert mails to .eml as well as to .rtf.
There were probably some other changes too. But I forget what they might have been.
Be sure to read the documentation carefully!

REQUIREMENTS
Mac OS X 10.5 or later.
